New Book: My Culinary Journey Food and Fetes Of Provence

I just got the advance copies of my new book, due out next month.

It’s an extension of my memoir A Pig in Provence, with photos of the landscapes, markets, and people, including family photos (including one of the Pig, Lucretia), recipes, and seven essays on various fetes and festivals of Provence, such as truffle fetes, olive festivals, and lavender fetes.

The official publication date is October 28, 2016, but there are some pre-events, too.

September 19, 2016 – 7:00 -9:00 pm A Grand Aioli Dinner, Feed Your People special event at 18 Reasons in San Francisco

October 8, 2016, noon – Great Valley Book Fair, Cooking Demonstration and book signing, Madera, CA

October 9, 2016 – Litquake Panel on Memoirs, moderated by Margo True, Food Editor, Sunset Magazine, time and place to be determined

October 20, 2016, 10 am -2 pm – A Fete Campagnard Cooking class for Epicurean Exchange, Orinda

October 22, 2016, 3 pm -4 pm  – Reading and Rose Wine at Omnivore Books, San Francisco

and, Post Publication

November 6, 2016, 4 pm, Book Passage, Corte Madera – reading, signing, aperitif

November 13, 2016, 3 – 6 PM Ferry Plaza Mezzanine, San Francisco, A Literary Feast with Bay Area Women Cookbook Authors, sponsored by Les Dames d’Escoffier and Book Passage. More than 30 authors, raffles, silent auction, book signing and shopping.
